FANCY DRESS & ROLE PLAY

“Clothes makes a statement. Costumes tell a story.
Life is a party so dress like it.”

On 25th September 2023, our School organized a theme based Fancy Dress Competition for the children of Classes KG to III and Role Play for Classes IV to VIII. The main objective of this competition was to develop cognitive skills and confidence in the children. The participants dressed up in colourful costumes and spoke few sentences on the characters that they depicted. Children displayed their talents based on the theme, dressing up as Cartoon Characters and Super Heroes. The participants of the Role Play emulated the renowned National Leaders with confidence and passion. The efforts and hard work of the children were highly commendable. The competition proved to be a great learning experience for the children and gave them a platform to explore their hidden talents.

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PEACE

Theme : Actions for Peace: Our Ambition for the Global Goals

Our School believes in building conscientious, global citizens of the world, in whom values of peace, harmony, empathy and non-violence are deeply ingrained. With this mission in mind, our school has undertaken the celebration of the UN International Day of Peace which is celebrated all over the world on 21st September. To mark this day, all the students of DPS enthusiastically participated in various activities to promote peace in the school environment. They worked together and gave presentations to express their feelings about peace with fellow beings. It was an enriching experience for the students as they realized the importance of unity and peace and we are hopeful that the students will promote peace in all walks of their life.

STORY TELLING

“Those who tell stories rule the world.”

Story telling is the most powerful way to put ideas into the world. Stories always give wings to our imagination and take us to places beyond the boundaries of physical world. Competitions are the best way to boost the confidence in children. Keeping this in mind, a storytelling competition was conducted for KG and for Classes I – VIII. Children narrated moral stories with facial expression and voice modulations. Each and every story was recited with great zest. The oratory and presentation skills of our children were outstanding.

WORLD PHOTOGRAPHY DAY

Theme : "Landscapes"

“Photography is the only language that can be understood
anywhere in the world”

World Photography Day is celebrated to enhance the art, craft, science, and history of photography. It was observed with great joy at our school. We planned to share the memories of the children captured by us during various events of the school and beautiful landscapes of the tour the children enjoyed. Our dedicative teachers prepared a photograph of each child by combining the moments of them from day one at school to till date. It was shared with them and their family. This would make the child cherish the moments of the school throughout their life.
