“Photography is the only language that can be understood
anywhere in the world”

World Photography Day is celebrated to enhance the art, craft, science, and history of photography. It was observed with great joy at our school. We planned to share the memories of the children captured by us during various events of the school and beautiful landscapes of the tour the children enjoyed. Our dedicative teachers prepared a photograph of each child by combining the moments of them from day one at school to till date. It was shared with them and their family. This would make the child cherish the moments of the school throughout their life.

NATIONAL SPORTS DAY

Theme : Sports are an enabler to an
Inclusive and Fit Society

Playing sports helps the children to organize the time, boosts friendships and builds healthy relationships with their pears. As per the theme of this year celebration, the children were infused with the thought that to keep a person fit and healthy, Sports plays a vital role. Our School celebrated the National Sports Day on 29th August 2023, commemorating the birth anniversary of Hockey Legend, Major Dhyan Chand, who is regarded as the greatest Hockey player of all times. To mark the significance of National Sports Day, the school organized several activities and games to inculcate the feeling of true sportsmanship among the children and to enhance their physical and social skills.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY

“A Leader is a one who knows the way,
goes the way and shows the way.”

The Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2023-24 was held with great pomp and dignity on 23rd August at our school. This momentous day dawned to bestow responsibilities on the deserving young talents of the school to lead their school from the front with their commitment, confidence and competence. The ceremony was presided over by the Chief Guest Dr. Ms. Selvarani Draviyam, Retired Reader, HOD- Zoology Department, Pope’s College, Sawyerpuram, the Guest of Honour Mrs. S. Merlin Premila, Secretary, Jeyaseelan JeniRich Educational and Charitable Trust and the Principal, Mrs. C. Sofia Selvarani. The Active members of different houses such as Maple, Sakura, Cassia and Willow were also the part of the ceremony. The elected leaders were conferred with badges by the Honourable Chief Guest and other dignitaries.

through your experiences and conversations.”

We live in a wonderful world that is full of beauty, charm and adventure. There is no end to the adventures we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open. An educational tour is an excellent opportunity for the students to move away from their classroom setting to carry on adventurous activities.
Our School Staff and children embarked on an exciting, educational and adventurous trip to the beautiful hills of Kodaikanal for two days (16.08.2023 to 17.08.2023). They visited the important places in and around Kodaikanal and enjoyed to the core. This trip broadened the students’ horizons and created memories that they’ll treasure for ever. Overall, it was an enriching and fun filled experience for the children and the teachers.
