NATIONAL BIRDS DAY

NATIONAL BIRDS DAY

05.11.2023

“Birds are cute little winged creatures who never fail to inspire us with their lives.”

To generate the awareness about physical and behavioural needs for improving the welfare of birds, National Birds Day is celebrated on 5th January. To inculcate bird safety and highlight the need to prioritize their health and safety, the Principal Ms. Sofia Selvarani rendered a speech.
Our little saviours of KG & Class I to VIII prepared birds by using their fine motor and creative skills. Children were engaged in Origami to make a model of Chick, Sparrow, Swan, Penguin, Parrot and Humming Bird. They also expressed their notions by saying few lines relating to their survival and taking care of.
This celebration not only aligned with the significance of National Bird Day but also contributed to the overall emotional and psychological well-being of the children. It provided a platform for them to enjoy the activity and experience the joy and happiness that comes with connecting with the natural world.
