KG FIELD TRIP

19.07.2024

“Happy times come and go, but the memories stay forever…”

By providing children with tangible experiences, field trips make learning more engaging, memorable, and relevant. Furthermore, they promote critical thinking, enhance observational skills, and nurture a sense of curiosity and wonder. On 19th July 2024, Kindergarten children were taken on a field trip to the  newly opened STEM park in Tuticorin where they were exposed to a view of exhibits related to Science and Technology. Children were excited and expressed their joy on the way to the park.

Various games and other fun activities conducted at the park.helped them to  relax, have fun, and bond with each other. One of the highlights of the trip was the lunch that the children had with their teachers. Through this Field Trip, our children had the opportunity to spend quality time with their friends and teachers. Overall, it was a wonderful experience for them which they will remember for days to come.

Smile brightly, on your way. School has started, just today!

The start of a new session is always a time filled with excitement. Our school reopened on 12th June 2024 for the academic year 2024-25.  The day was meticulously planned to ensure a smooth transition back to school life for students, staff and parents.

The day began with a vibrant morning assembly which was conducted by the teachers. The event was graced by the presence of the Chairman Mr. I Jeyaseelan, the Correspondent Mr. B. Prabakaran John, the Secretary Mrs. S. Merlin Premila, and the Principal Mrs. C. Sofia Selvarani. The Principal welcomed everyone back with an inspiring speech emphasizing the importance of hard work, collaboration and perseverance. She highlighted the school’s achievements from the previous year and outlined key goals for the upcoming year. She encouraged the students to embrace the challenges and opportunities ahead with enthusiasm and determination.

The KG children were given a star smiley handouts and Classes I to VIII children were given a greeting card to welcome them. The children were very happy to receive the gifts from the class teachers. The regular classes began with ice-breaking activities to help students reacquaint themselves with their classmates. Activities included self-introduction, fun quizzes, group discussions and creative games designed to build camaraderie and ease the transition back to school.

All the children were involved in Hand Print Activity wherein they dipped their hands in colourful paints and left their precious handprints on the activity wall. The activity wall was made colourful with all their handprints. To make the first day of school extra special and memorable one, a photo session was organized at school. Children were taken individual photo with a beautiful wings background. The photos were shared with the parents.
